Tissue identification for surgical guidance using biophotonics
Daniyal Ghauri received his BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Bradford UK in 2016 with first class honors. In 2019, he received his MSc Electrical Engineering from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan. He has joined the Bio-photonics Group at Tyndall National Institute in Ireland as an early-stage researcher within the H2020 MSCA PHAST-ETN project. He is working on a project to develop an optical guidance setup for precise malignant tissue identification during surgery. His current research interests include novel optical sensors for healthcare diagnostics.
