Supervisor: Davide Janner
Project: Integrated optical fiber sensors for intravital monitoring
Malhar Nagar received his Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Master of Science in Physics from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam, India, in 2018 and 2020 respectively.
During his M.Sc. he worked on the project: Time Resolved Third Order Nonlinear Optical Susceptibility Measurements Using Femtosecond Degenerate Four Wave Mixing: Automation and Analysis. Later, he underwent a special training program on practical aspects of handling optical fibers and familiarisation with fiber optic components, from the same University.
Subsequently, in October 2021, he has joined as an early-stage researcher in the Applied Science and Technology Department at Politecnico di Torino for carrying out his H2020 MSCA-PHAST project “Integrated optical fiber sensors for intravital monitoring” under the supervision of Prof. Davide Janner.
His current research interests include: Fiber optics, Ultrafast non-linear optics and Bio-photonics.
